A Public Record for Every Recognition

Every Aurora recognition now carries a public, checkable record: an award ID, its current status, the edition and category it was awarded in, and the date it was last verified. The /verify tool lets anyone — a retailer, a journalist, a shopper — confirm that a badge displayed on a product or website corresponds to an actual, current Aurora recognition rather than an expired or fabricated one. This is a deliberate design choice: a recognition system is only as trustworthy as its weakest verification step, and an unverifiable badge is functionally indistinguishable from no badge at all.
